WHAT DOES LOLO MEANS?
The name ‘Lolo’ comes from the nickname of our Founder, and is one of the most familiar names in the fruit industry.
We like the name as it is easy to remember and it reflects our Founder’s energy to our Mission.
Carrying with it the meaning of ‘premium quality at reasonable prices’ and a name that ‘brings happiness and delight to the Malaysian neighbourhood’, we feel it has always been a great fit for us as individuals, our company, our products and our values.

Founder and Managing Director of SHT Importer, Soon Hoi & Lolo Fresh Sdn Bhd. He has over 25 years of hands-on experience in trading, sourcing and importing fruits from across the world. With his superior expertise in the fruit industry, the focus of Lolo Fresh is on achieving competitive cost advantage and offering affordable Premium Specialty fruits to the Malaysian market. This has been the good ground for setting up Lolo Fresh.

Juan Miguel Marzal
My name is Juan Miguel Marzal, I was born in Spain, I am 54 years old and my profession is exporting and importing fruit, I have more than 25 years of experience both in the technical part of the fruit and in its management and methodology for export to Asia and Middle East, I currently reside in Kuala Lumpur for 13 years but started exporting fruit to Asia in 1993.
I have traveled practically all over Spain visiting fruit and vegetable centers and visiting their fields (citrus, stone fruit, grapes, berries ...) and my extensive experience in these markets and coexistence with end customers have given me a vision and perspective of the profile Of fruit that is in demand in these countries and that is why I have been maturing in this business, which has allowed me to take a qualitative leap in the expansion of the business.
My training and logistical knowledge (1 year under the orders of MAERSK in the port of Algeciras) doing quality controls on all fruits and doing static tests gave me all the necessary to know the evolution of the fruits and their maturation period in a container, in addition to being able to apply the appropriate temperatures to each fruit and to know with great precision its post-harvest life time.
My extensive experience in aerial products has also helped me to make loading protocols so that the fruits can arrive in the best conditions at their destination.
In summary I can say that I have a master's degree in fruits and vegetables that can contribute to the end customer being able to enjoy fruits in the best possible conditions, I hope I can serve LOLO FRESH to help improve the selection process. and their arrival and I hope to contribute to their relaunch on online platforms.
